Scope of the call

The use case is that the client (a Saas platform) will trigger a request through API to Workday to create a Job Requisition along with generation of new position id to initiate any external hiring. We have received a list of 20+ fields which the Workday SI is asking for to enable this use case. Currently we don't have provision for some of those fields as some of them exist in WD HRMS for the client.

  • Generally how these kinds of integrations (inbound to WD) are done in WD ATS
  • Do we need these 20+ fields; as we believe some fields can be derived. How does these derivations happen in Workday if that is the HRMS SoR
  • Incase we have to provision for some fields which are must, how to maintain a master for these fields, can Workday push those masters or there is a data repository within Workday which the our system should be Pulling data periodically
